Skater - Full USFS/SPFSA Member  - This membership includes full USFS and SPFSA membership and entitles the member to participate in all activities of the club including discounted club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions. 15 volunteer hours per skating year are required for this membership. Any volunteer hours completed by the end of the skating year are credited back to the skater as a discount on their next year’s membership at $10/hour for a max total discount of $150. Discounts are valid on membership renewal for 365 days following end of the membership year in which they were earned. For example: Susie Skater volunteers 8 hours during the 2024-2025 season earning an $80 discount on her 2025-2026 membership fees. The $80 discount expires June 30th, 2026.

 

This membership is appropriate for skaters who wish to participate and represent SPFSA in any USFS test sessions or USFS competitions during the membership year.

Skater – Additional Family Member  - This membership includes full USFS and SPFSA membership for additional family members of current SPFSA/USFS full members and entitles the member to participate in all activities of the club including discounted club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions. Family members must reside at the same address. (Additional family of awarded memberships are not eligible for this membership. Said members must join as Full Members.)

This membership is appropriate for the second skater in a family who also wishes to participate and represent SPFSA in any USFS test sessions or USFS competitions during the membership year.

Skater - Introductory USFS/SPFSA  - This membership includes full USFS and SPFSA membership and entitles the member to participate in all activities of the club including discounted club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions. 

*Qualifications*  An introductory member is an individual who has never been a full member of US Figure Skating. The individual could, however, have been a Learn To Skate USA member previously. This is a special discounted membership rate for one year only. No person may be an introductory member for more than one year even if their membership lapses. 15 volunteer hours per skating year are required for this membership. Any volunteer hours completed by the end of the skating year are credited back to the skater as a discount on the next year’s membership at $10/hour for a max total discount of $150. Discounts are valid on membership renewal for 365 days following end of the membership year in which they were earned. Skater - Collegiate USFS/SPFSA  - This membership includes full USFS and SPFSA membership for four years and entitles the member to participate in all activities of the club including discounted club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions. The member must be enrolled in college at the time of application and may only be used one time. There is no volunteer commitment. 
2024-2025 4 year fee - $150.00

 

This membership is appropriate for skaters in college who wish to participate and represent SPFSA in any USFS test sessions or USFS competitions during four years of college.

 

Coach – Full USFS/SPFSA Home Club Membership  - This membership includes full home club membership with SPFSA and USFS for registered and compliant coaches. All coaches must submit proof of registration and compliancy by the first day of the season (July 1), or at the time the coach returns to the ice for the season, whichever comes first. 
2024-2025 season fee - $80.00

 

This membership is appropriate for coaches who wish to represent SPFSA as they put on skaters at USFS test sessions and USFS competitions.

 

Learn To Skate USA - Introductory Membership  - This membership includes a USFS Learn To Skate USA and SPFSA membership and entitles the member to participate in club activities including discounted club ice skating sessions, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions. 

*Qualifications* Learn To Skate USA Introductory Memberships are only for skaters who are NEW to St. Peters Figure Skating Association and have not previously tested and do not plan to test USFS Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field and/or Pre-Preliminary Free Skate or higher prior to the start of the season. This is a special, one time only, discounted membership rate that does not require club volunteer hours. It is non-renewable.

This membership is appropriate for skaters who wish to participate on SPFSA teams, such as synchronized skating and production, but do NOT plan to attend any USFS test session or USFS Competitions.

Learn To Skate USA  - This membership includes a USFS Learn To Skate USA and SPFSA membership and entitles the member to participate in club activities including discounted club ice skating sessions, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions. 

*Qualifications* Learn To Skate USA Memberships are only for skaters who have not previously tested and do not plan to test USFS Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field and/or Pre-Preliminary Free Skate or higher levels prior to the start of the season or during the season. Existing SPFSA club members that otherwise meet the qualifications set forth above are eligible for this membership. 5 volunteer hours per skating year are required for this membership. Any volunteer hours completed by the end of the skating year are credited back to the skater as a discount on the next year’s membership at $10/hour for a max total discount of $50. Discounts are valid on membership renewal for 365 days following end of the membership year in which they were earned. For example: Samuel Skater volunteers 3 hours during the 2024-2025 season earning an $30 discount on his 2025-2026 membership fees. The $30 discount expires June 30th, 2026.

*Qualifications* Skater has another family member registered as a Full USFS/SPFSA or Learn to Skate member AND the skater has not previously tested and does not plan to test USFS Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field and/or Pre-Preliminary Free Skate or higher levels prior to the start of the season or during the season. Existing SPFSA club members that otherwise meet the qualifications set forth above are eligible for this membership.

This membership is appropriate for skaters who wish to participate on SPFSA teams, such as synchronized skating and production, but do NOT plan to attend any USFS test session or USFS Competitions.

Skater - Associate SPFSA Membership  - This membership requires that the skater must be a USFS member through another club and entitles the member to discounted club ice skating sessions, member testing privileges, club meetings, and social functions. Please submit a copy of USFS membership card to membership@spfsaonline.com. Associate members are ineligible for any awards (monetary or otherwise), recognition, fundraising, scholarships, or financial assistance. There is no volunteer commitment for the membership year. 

Starting July 2025 – Skater – Associate SPFSA Membership – Associate members will be eligible for fundraising.

 

This membership is appropriate for skaters who have full USFS membership through another skating club AND who wish to participate in SPFSA club ice skating sessions, SPFSA club test sessions, SPFSA club meetings, and SPFSA club social functions during the membership year.

Coach - Associate Membership  - This membership requires that the coach be a full USFS member of another club. All coaches must submit proof of registration and compliancy by the start of the season (July 1), or at the time the coach returns to the ice for the season, whichever comes first. Associate members are ineligible for any awards (monetary or otherwise), recognition, fundraising, scholarships, or financial assistance.

 

This membership is appropriate for coaches who wish to participate in SPFSA events and use SPFSA ice.

 

2024-2024 season fee - $80.00

 

 

SPFSA-only Membership - A SPFSA-only member can attend any SPFSA event that does not take place on the ice and they would be eligible to participate in fundraising.  These members are NOT eligible for scholarships, grants, and other financial awards. 15 volunteer hours per skating year are suggested for this membership. Any volunteer hours completed by the end of the skating year are credited back to the skater as a discount on their next year’s membership at $10/hour for a max total discount of $150. Discounts are valid on membership renewal for 365 days following end of the membership year in which they were earned. For example: Susie Skater volunteers 8 hours during the 2024-2025 season earning an $80 discount on her 2025-2026 membership fees. The $80 discount expires June 30th, 2026.

This membership is appropriate for non-USFS individuals who wish to participate in fundraising for their-own skating and partake in non-on-ice SPFSA events.

Skater - Full Half-Year USFS/SPFSA Member  - This is pro-rated membership includes full USFS and SPFSA membership and entitles the member to participate in all activities of the club including discounted club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings, and social functions after January 1 of the membership year. 7.5 volunteer hours per skating year are required for this membership. Any volunteer hours completed by the end of the skating year are credited back to the skater as a discount on their next year’s membership at $10/hour for a max total discount of $75. Discounts are valid on membership renewal for 365 days following end of the membership year in which they were earned. For example: Susie Skater volunteers 4 hours during the 2024-2025 season earning an $40 discount on her 2025-2026 membership fees. The $40 discount expires June 30th, 2026.

 

Entitles member to participate in all activities of the club including club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings and social functions.  Half year members are not eligible for discounted Grassroots to Champions registration or any other club rebates awarded from club fundraising efforts.

SPFSA Graduate - SPFSA Graduate membership is offered to current SPFSA full members who graduated from high school this membership year.  This is a one time "gift" which will provide a 4 year SPFSA and USFS membership (see Collegiate description) to those who accept the gift and apply for the membership.  Available only to SPFSA graduates who received email regarding gift.

 

Associate Skater - Full Half-Year USFS/SPFSA Member  - Associate Half Year SPFSA Skater Membership:   This is a pro-rated associate membership offered after January 1 of the current skate year.

Skater must be a USFS member through another club.  Fees are 1/2 of the amount required for full year membership.  Please submit a copy of USFS membership card to the SPFSA mailbox.

Entitles member to participate in all activities of the club including club ice skating sessions, testing, fundraising, club meetings and social functions.  Half year members are not eligible for discounted Grassroots to Champions registration or any other club rebates awarded from club fundraising efforts.
